Carm Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml)

Casa Agricola Roboredo Madeira, better known from its label as CARM is a family business and Filipe Madeira takes his olive oil very seriously. Grande Escolha (meaning the Great Selection) is an unfilitered organic cold-pressed Extra Virgin olive oil produced from very select olives, mainly Madural and Verdeal, in the Douro Superior near Almeadra. The olives are handpicked between the end of October and early December. They are processed without delay and pulverized in a traditional granite stone mill without the addition of water, which would diminish their aromatic quality. The oil is bottled after a natural decanting, without filtering, so some sediment will appear at the bottom of the bottle. The careful process results in a complex oil that is rich and fruity, yet peppery in the finish. The award-winning CARM is a must-have for anyone who considers themselves an oil connoisseur.
