Thyme Organic Myrovolos

Ingredients: Dried leaves & flowers of organic thyme.

Used to flavor dishes such as meat and fish, sauces and marinades and as a beverage. Considered to have many natural properties beneficial to humans.

The thymol, which is contained in it, has antiseptic activity and it is the main ingredient of many commercial mouthwash preparations. Thymol has also been shown to be effective at fighting off fungi, which they often infect the toenails. It is also an active ingredient in some alcohol-free herbal preparations, for hand disinfection. Thyme decotion can be used to treat cough and bronchitis.

To make the infusion, put 1 teaspoon of dried thyme or 2 teaspoons of fresh herb without stems in 1 cup boiling water. Cover for 10 minutes and then strain.

Store away from the sun and moisture.
